Bring people together and raise awareness of local health services by taking part in a Big Lunch
The Big Lunch has teamed up with the #iwill campaign (which promotes youth social action for under 20 year olds) and NHS England to help more young people learn about the NHS and empower them to take part in improving the health of their communities.
The Big Lunch is a great way to celebrate something you are proud of, help people to get to know each other better and encourage people to start a conversation, but most of all it’s fun!
Whether you want to hold a Big Lunch as a way to spark conversations about the positive difference young people can make in health and care, introduce young people to a range of healthcare professions and services, or simply as a way to celebrate one of our nation’s most loved institutions, we’ve put some resources together to get you started, including Your Guide to The Big Lunch, posters and invites, and games and conversation starters.
A Big Lunch is the perfect way to get young people interested in, and taking positive action for health and care in their communities. This not only empowers, upskills and improves the wellbeing of young people, it improves the health and wellbeing of communities too, simply put - everyone benefits.
