The Big Lunch is about millions of people getting together to share food, have fun and get to know each other better. On 6 and 7 June, people around the UK will stop what they're doing and get together in a nationwide act of community and friendship. As this is a weekend and may fall during half term, schools can hold Big Lunches whenever suits them.
The Big Lunch is inclusive and welcoming; it’s a fantastic opportunity for schools and students to celebrate achievements, raise funds for the school or help grow the school community.
