The Scarf of Kindness (grab yours below) is full of easy ideas to make connections and spread some cheer over winter and into the New Year. Why not have some fun and invite others to join in too? Share it with friends and family, at work or bring it along to your local group and see how far we can spread kindness together.
Just one or two small acts of kindness can make a big difference. Do a few or try them all and start a wave of positivity to wrap around your community.
Ideas for using the Scarf of Kindness?
- Print it out and stick on your fridge at home to share with your family. Why not colour in the scarf as you go?
- Pin the Scarf of Kindness up in a community space and invite everyone to get involved. If you can, leave some space around it and encourage people to write their small acts of kindness down or add photos to inspire others.
- Share it in a local group on social media and let others know how to join in. You might be surprised how far kindness can spread!
- Cut out each idea and pop it in a jar – take a lucky dip throughout the winter and carry out one small act at a time. You could even make the jar as a gift to give to someone else and add a few positive messages in too.
- Share it with your team at work or through your internal comms for a company-wide wave of kindness.
- Play a game – roll a dice or counter and see which it lands closest to. It’s a great way to get children involved too.
