Pride Picnic, Hastings
Sunday 21 August, Art in the Park, Alexandra Park, Hastings.
Come along to this pre-Pride Picnic, hosted by Hastings and Rother Rainbow Alliance and Eden Project Communities, and proudly supported by Arts on Prescription and Hastings Pride.
There will be a guided Tree Walk from 10am-12pm, live music and an open mike session and a poster making workshop.
The event will fundraise for Hastings Pride and Arts on Prescription.
Listening Skills, One Day Workshop, Sneinton, Nottinghamshire

Discover techniques that help build a strong and resilient community. Gain an understanding of why listening is important and develop practical listening skills and tactics to ignite passion in residents and to help turn their ideas into action.
This fun one-day workshop, like all of our training, is inspiring and interactive. It is designed so that everybody can engage in participatory exercises and activities and share their ideas and experiences and practice their skills.
Free refreshments, lunch and carparking.
The Happiness Fund
£2,500 funding available for grassroots, neighbourhood-based community projects thoughout the UK, working to improve mental health. Opens 1 July, closes when 50 applications have been reached.
The Barchester Foundation
£100 - £2,000 grants available for connecting people with others in their local community with projects that combat loneliness and enable people to be active and engaged.
Matthew Good Foundation
Every three months, they'll share £10,000 between 5 shortlisted projects that have a positive impact on communities, people or the environment.
