What's happening in March?

9 March

Commonwealth Day is an annual celebration observed by people all over the Commonwealth in Africa, Asia, the Caribbean and Americas, the Pacific and Europe.

You could join in by holding a Commonwealth Big Lunch!

13-16 March

Community Camp is for people across the UK who want to start a community project or are already doing something and want to take the next step. Find out more and apply here.

19 March

We’ll once again be joining the WCVA’s national event to celebrate and inspire charitable and voluntary groups and organisations.

20 March

This year's theme is Happier Together, focusing on what we have in common, rather than what divides us. They say that everyone wants to be happy and life is happier when we're together - the team at Eden Project Communities couldn't agree more!  Catch up with someone in your community and feel the benefit!

23-29 March

National Intergenerational Week is all about celebrating those moments and places where different age groups come together for shared benefit.  Join us on #IntergenerationalWeek as we say no to the age gap.  It's a good moment to pop round to a neighbour's house for a cuppa and a chat, you could talk about getting together for a Big Lunch, or you could organise a memory walk!
