What's happening in July?

Love Parks Week is a platform for thousands of park lovers to join forces in the UK's largest celebration of green spaces. Bring a picnic and make a day of it with your neighbours.

The United Nations is observing World Youth Skills Day with a special event centred on 'Skills Development to Improve Youth Employment.'  Its hoped this will draw attention to the critical need for marketable skills and contribute to reducing unemployment and underemployment among the youth across the globe.

Understanding what works to support young people in today and tomorrow’s labour market through training and skills development will be key to the achievement of the 2030 Agenda, and will be at the centre of this high-level event.

Celebrate the invaluable work of community centres across the UK.  If you run, work in or volunteer at a community centre, Community Centre Week is for you. It's a great opportunity to hold an event, organise a competition, have a party or get together with your community to say thank you.
