A day to celebrate the contribution and achievements of volunteers across the world, providing an opportunity for volunteer organisations and individual volunteers to show their contributions to peace and development.

7 December

Welcome to our Northern Ireland regional virtual meet up, dont forget we are always organising in person events and connecting people so dont stay virtual forever! These sessions are first Wednesday of the month and will help you reach out and make new useful connections with peers.

Find out whats going on outside our own wee worlds and support each other with ideas and solutions to our community needs. Anyone can attend as long as you have a desire to make something happen in community or are already active.

9 December, 7.30pm

From gifts, decorations and food, Christmas can be a time of decadence, but there are still plenty of ways you can enjoy the festivities while treading more lightly on the planet. Join this session as we discuss how to waste less, be more creative with gifts and decorations, and how to have climate positive conversations around Christmas. We'll also feature a crafty demo for you to do yourself.

Friday 10 December, all day!

On Friday 10th December, we’re going to be bringing together a live online end of year celebration across our social media channels that you will be able to share with your friends, groups and pages to join in with too! A day that showcases people, places and passions all across Wales, through a fun, lively and interactive set of pick-me-up sessions happening throughout the day.

Join us throughout the day across our Facebook page, and network group, for poems, cooking demos, singalongs, workouts, quizzes, and more from people and projects doing amazing things all over Wales.

14 December, 3.30pm 

Christmas is all about spending time with family and friends, but reconnecting after such a long time can be hard. Join this session, alongside Cyrenian's Scottish Centre for Conflict Resolution, to pick up some tips on how to reconnect, work through social anxiety, avoid triggers, and deal with any fall outs this festive period.

This workshop is aimed for people who would like to improve their conflict resolution skills and techniques, especially within families and with young people.

Cyrenians Scottish Centre for Conflict Resolution supports best practice in mediation and offers a range of free digital resources, training and events to better support young people, families and the people who work with them to deal with family conflict to improve relationships and improve lives.

Are you passionate about your community in Bristol? Join us on Tuesday 14th December 6:30-9pm at Coexist Community Kitchen in Easton, for a wonderful community Festive Gift Making Workshop!

Inspired by Cook & Share Month held recently by Food for Life, we have decided to celebrate this past year of incredible community spirit by coming together with other Bristolian community do-ers and learn how to create a selection of beautiful festive food gifts to share with loved ones this Christmas.
