The success of The Great Big Walk relies on support from funders and partners who have helped us to map out the walk routes, plan community visits, get our amazing walk teams around and provided accommodation along the road. We are grateful for all their assistance in helping us reach people and communities along The Great Big Walk!

If you would like to become a supporter, sponsor or help by funding some of the work we do, please email to get in touch.

Our funders

The National Lottery has provided the funding to make the work we do and The Great Big Walk possible. The Big Lottery Fund is delighted to invest funding that supports people who want to make a positive change in their communities. The Great Big Walk will strengthen neighbourhood networks, create a greater sense of community cohesion and improve the lives of communities across the UK. Bringing communities together, reducing loneliness and isolation and helping to make a difference locally is at the heart of the Big Lottery Fund’s mission.

The Pears Foundation is an independent, British family foundation, rooted in Jewish values, that takes private money every year and invests it in good causes.

The Prince of Wales's Charitable Foundation believe that sustainably planned, built and maintained communities improve the quality of life of everyone who is part of them.

Renault logo.

At the heart of Renault’s passion are innovative engineering concepts that encapsulate warm, striking, emotive and functional design. They strive to evolve their automotive products beyond the conventional and seek to challenge the status quo at every junction to create something that is more than just an object. Something that is intrinsically connected with the owner's lifestyle. We are proud to be partnering with Renault on The Great Big Walk and cannot wait to pack in our gear and get those Zoe's on the road!

The Great Get Together logo

The Great Get Together is inspired by Jo Cox, who was killed on 16 June last year. They believe there is a groundswell of people who reject divisive politics and simply want to bring our communities together and celebrate all that unites us. As the prime minister said, when she remarked on Jo’s death in her New Year’s message: 2017 represents an opportunity to move forward and “bring this country together, as never before”. We are pleased to be partnering with The Great Get Together and The Jo Cox Foundation in doing just that.
